Starting a Ministry in Your Church by Meleah Allard & Cindy Keehn
You may be asking the question, “What can I do?” This workshop will provide practical suggestions and ideas on how you may start an effective Christian ministry for those affected by homosexuality within your church based on Elsie’s personal experience and research.
Meleah Allard is the director of New Beginning Support Ministry, a satellite of Truth Ministry. Meleah surrendered her life to Jesus at 28 years old after living homosexually for almost a decade. She has been married for 20 years to Mark and is the mother of four adult children and the grandmother of two. Meleah believes the ministry work she does today is a major part of her life calling and is grateful that God has redeemed her past is such a miraculous way.
Cindy Keehn began indulging her homosexual desires after moving to Asheville, NC in 1981. Life circumstances led her to make Jesus Lord of her life in 1987 and she left the homosexual life. God sent her into Eastern Europe where she served in evangelistic/discipleship ministries for the next decade. Returning stateside, Cindy established an active Missions Program at her FL church as well as regularly taught Adult Bible Classes. She sensed God calling her to share the truth of her past and began ministering to those impacted by homosexuality and established an Exodus affiliated ministry at her church in 2011.
