How do we continue to maintain our convictions, stories, and beliefs, yet meaningfully and respectfully engage with others who are different? Janelle comes with many personal stories and perspectives based on her many years of experience.
Janelle Hallman – Janelle is the Clinical Director of Janelle Hallman & Associates and an adjunct professor at Denver Seminary and Colorado Christian University. She is the founder and director of Desert Hope Ministries, a non-profit organization providing dynamic conferences on God’s design for sexuality and gender. Janelle completed her Masters in Counseling with honors at Denver Theological Seminary. She is a licensed professional counselor, author, and popular national and international speaker on issues related to human brokenness, real relationships, authentic sexuality, and God’s redemptive grace. She is the author of The Heart of Female Same-Sex Attraction: A Comprehensive Counseling Resource (2008, InterVarsity Press) and contributed a chapter to The Handbook of Therapy for Unwanted Homosexual Attractions: A Guide to Treatment, edited by Julie Hamilton and Phil Henry (2009, Xulon Press).
